My house under siege by these vicious (and unpruned) trees

The ice was about half an inch thick. It took me about an hour just to chip away a 7-square foot section in the back of the driveway. The pictures of the fallen branches do little justice to how large they actually were. It was also pretty difficult to get good pictures from my phone that showed just how many fell and how much of the front yard was littered with them (though the word "litter" when referring to trees is probably not the best choice to describe it). I should have pruned the trees when I moved into the house over the summer, but really did not anticipate an enormous ice storm like this. I had to call up a company to come out and cleanup the trees (pruning and cleanup).
